Artist Statement
My work is driven by a belief in multiple realities and parallel universes. I explore terrains and populations that exist outside our tangible world, recreating myths and rituals of my own history. I negotiate the spaces in between and animate the specters that navigate these realms. I think of my paintings as existing in the place between waking and sleep: while the mind stirs toward consciousness, threads of half-truths and the unknown seep through.
