Artist Statement
I access a wide variety of media to illustrate and ponder questions regarding perception and balance, both physical and theoretical. String, sound, photographs, sewing, painting, mirrors, light, and space are all implemented as I build upon the history of geometric abstraction, Op art, and color theory. My work is about seeing, both literally and metaphorically, while questioning the objectivity of the visually tangible. Self-reflection and perception are the guiding forces in my current body of installations.
