The stories in Aesop’s Fables are full of poetic moments, vivid dramas, and tragic endings. Some touch on darker human tendencies we see in others, some that we recognize in ourselves, but all point to great truths that remain relevant today, taught through the humblest of incidents. It has been an absolute pleasure to bring these ancient tales to life with minute details, carefully rendered textures, and rich color. Artists have been interpreting Aesop’s Fables for centuries, and it is a privilege to add my own pictures to that collection.
