Artist Statement
I characterize my current work in painting as a series of humanist manifestos played out in a highly metaphorical visual language. These works are necessarily about conflict and resolution within the human psyche as regards reason and belief. For these works I employ an aesthetic that closely mimics mechanical print media in terms of precise lines, flat expressionless surfaces and my emphasis on multiples (with slight variations).
