Artist Statement
My work is defined by an intuitive combination of elements in balance, and it becomes complete only when these elements line up harmoniously. With the use of light, shadow, line, and volume, the work begins to bend space, creating illusions that imply dimension—leading the viewer to question what is real and what is imagined. Pushing the limitations of simple two- and three-dimensional geometric constructions, I seek to find a balance between form, logic, and the relationship of the work with its natural and manmade surroundings.
