My paintings emerge from a private internal world of images and emotions. My impetus to paint is driven by the desire to project this inner world to the outside. Buckled down in a frenzied roller coaster ride leading to an unknown destination, where colliding thoughts and emotions come together as grotesque mythical creatures and objects, the paintings are spontaneous, meticulous depictions of fantasy and turmoil. On the canvas, these unnamable creatures and unclassifiable forms are given free rein to express their limitless sentiments.
