I am interested in the use of animals in rituals, representations of wilderness, cartoons, and domestic situations. Using representational means, I depict distorted, truncated, or reanimated animals and integrate them with abstraction, exploring the intersection and disintegration between the two elements. The crossover between emotional attachment, functional or spiritual use, and anthropomorphic projection is intriguing and confusing. I am confronting these tensions with the utmost sincerity.
