Artist Statement
I am compelled by notions of psychological and physical space, and conflations of the two. My work is generated through a practice of spontaneity and intuitive language. Admitting abstract narratives, the work becomes a visual vault of my experiences and perceptions of my environment. We thrive off of our ability to mold disorder around us, and the process of painting, for me, mimes the ways we transform this space.
