NortheastArtist Statement
Things that I find discarded and unloved along the streets, and for sale at second hand stores, or objects I construct are placed in front of hand painted backdrops, as I try to bring my vision to life. Once the stage is set, and a vignette created, psychological aspects emerge which moves me to paint. It’s not unlike a medieval passion play without any recognized theology - a parallel world of unknown origin.
