Artist Statement
In response to the frenetic pace of the world around, I have simplified my work. While using line as a trace, repetitively at times, empty space and a poured monochrome surface function as an invitation for pause. Reduced and ordered, these paintings employ select ideas in minimalism that resonate with me today.
