Artist Statement

My work explores the fluid relationship between pictorial space and a three-dimensional realm between drawing, painting, and sculpture. While my installations are a direct response to the architecture they inhabit, my dimensional paintings are a more singular instance of how an object occupies space. The title of each work refers to the act that produced it.
