Artist Statement

 Yi Gao adopts an experimental approach to transcend conventional bound-aries and power structures. She employs color, rhythm, and repetition to create movement and evoke profound emotional responses. Her medium serves as a vessel preserving the experience of migration across multiple dimensions.
