NAP Artist at Auction: Jordan Casteel

New American Paintings alum, Jordan Casteel (Northeast issue #116) went to auction at Sotheby's New York on May 17th.  The winning bid landed at $81,250 - over $60,000 above the estimate.  Casteel's painting, Lost Tribes, was featured in Sotheby's CREATING SPACE: ARTISTS FOR THE STUDIO MUSEUM IN HARLEM: AN AUCTION TO BENEFIT THE MUSEUM'S NEW BUILDING.
