In the Studio: Shelley Reed

Written by Andrew Katz Katz

Shelleystudio Back in March, Shelley Reed opened up her Allston (a suburb of Boston) studio for me. She was in the midst of getting ready for two shows that would take place in New York in early Spring. I was really excited to be in the presence of her work, which ranges from small to very large (upwards of 8 feet tall). Below is my studio visit with her that originally appeared on My Love for You. –Meighan O'Toole Something is amiss amidst all this beauty and delight opens at Sears Peyton Gallery in New York City on May 6th. It should be said that I had a hard time choosing what pictures to post, you can see the whole studio visit on flickr. More images after the jump. Shelley2 Shelley2deet Shelley2deet2 Shelleypalatte
